Itinerary
Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport where you will be welcome by a member of Our Team and transfer to Kandy.
En route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage; The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was established by the Sri Lankan Department of Wildlife Conservation in 1975 for feeding and providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby elephants that were found in the wild.The orphanage was located at the Wilpattu National Park, then shifted to the tourist complex at Bentota and then to the Dehiwala Zoo. From the Zoo it was shifted to Pinnawala village on a 25-acre coconut plantation adjacent to the Maha Oya River.
It was planned for the facility to attract local and foreign visitors, the income from which would help to maintain the orphanage. The Pinnawala Orphanage has since become a tourist attraction. In 1978, the orphanage was taken over by the Department of National Zoological Gardens Sri Lanka. In 1982 an elephant breeding program was launched. As of 2012, there were 78 elephants living here.The behavior of the Elephants are offering plenty of memorable moments to the visitors of the place.
Thereafter, visit a spice garden, and learn about the therapeutic values of spices and the various cultivation process employed, after which one can enjoy a revitalizing cup of herbal tea.
The more adventurous type in need of a more authentic town experience can look forwards to wandering through the bustling streets filled with exotic sights and sounds.

In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy. Experience an ancient Kandyan legacy engraved around its crown jewel – a historic temple that houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Thereafter, proceed to an auditorium to witness a captivating cultural show.
Once the day is done, head back to the hotel to unwind and enjoy a delectable dinner.

After breakfast, You can have a Kandy City Tour. Last ruled by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, before it was brought under the British rule in 1815, this city was the final royal capital of Sri Lankan kings. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has a rich culture, history and heritage and attracts travellers from around the world.Explore the bustling town centre home to a colourful bazaar, world-class brands, an arts & crafts centre and a gem museum and lapidary, take a stroll amidst the vibrant colour of the fresh fruits and vegetables in the Kandy Market.
Transfer to Nuwara Eliya

Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya
Flourishing national asset. First developed as a pleasure garden under royalty and later improved upon by the British, the gardens are located just four miles from Kandy and feature the most welcoming facilities as well. Walk into this 147-acre haven for an experience of bliss, passing well-tended lawns, pavilions and an octagon conservatory. Be greeted by the vast expanse of magnificently landscaped, lush green turf which will encourage you to take an exhilarating break. Towards the north of the entrance is a cafeteria that one might come across, before heading to some of the highlights here; this includes the Orchid House and the giant Javan fig tree, each with their own sense of grace and beauty.
Ambuluwawa,
Ambuluwawa Tower is located in the suburbs of Gampola Town in Sri Lanka. There has been an increased popularity in recent times especially due to the breathtaking views you can experience when you climb to the top of the Ambuluwawa Tower. It is also known for its narrow spiral staircase which some visitors find challenging to climb. It is one of the coolest places to visit in Sri Lanka if you are up for the challenge.
Ambuluwawa mountain peak has a height of 3567 feet above sea level. It is located over 1000 feet above from the Gampola Town. The tower is located on the summit of the mountain peak. Since there are no other mountains in the surrounding area and due to its unique location, Ambuluwawa Tower gets an undisturbed view from far away and vice versa. The tower is visible from Gampola Train Station.
After that proceed to visit Ramboda Falls .It is 109 m high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. The falls have an altitude 945 m above sea level
After the Lunch Proceed to visit Tea Factory & Tea Plantation
Walk around lush tea estates and watch how the delicate buds are picked and later processed in factories the world’s finest tea. In the meanwhile you can enjoy a hot delicious cup of tea breathe in the invigorating mountain air!

After a delicious breakfast, it’s time to explore Nuwara Eliya.
Misty steep roads, twisting through lush green blankets of tea bushes in a cool climate, remind visitors that they are within the range of the renowned British colonial retreat, Nuwara Eliya. Augmented by an English countryside atmosphere, the “City of Light” - once governed by English and Scottish planters - is still studded with colonial bungalows,A hike through the green grass and past redbrick walls should present breathtaking views of a buzzing countryside hamlet.
On completion of your excursion, transfer to a beach resort via Kitulgala.
Showered by two monsoons each year, Kitulgala - the destination of the acclaimed movie 'The Bridge on the River Kwai' - marks an important period in many calendars as one of the wettest places in Sri Lanka. If adventure close to Colombo is your pick, then Kitulgala is your bliss!
The Kelani river is wide at Kitulgala, but it is shallow apart from a deep channel near the opposite bank, so in the drier months it provides a safe and attractive place to swim, wash and play.
The river can be crossed by walking out across the shallows and crossing the deep channel in a dugout canoe, which is stabilized with an outrigger.
Sri Lanka's most recently discovered bird, the Serendib scops owl was originally heard calling by Deepal Warakagoda in these forests.
The hills above the rubber plantations also have mountain hawk eagle, crested treeswift and Layard's parakeet.
